I'm a writer living in Queens. Currently furloughed until August, although normally the Verge's Reviews Coordinator. There I wrote about anime and video games (especially indie games.) While furloughed I plan to continue to write about those and more on my blog, and wherever people might pay me to.

Unfortunately I’ve been furloughed from my job until the end of July. Luckily, unlike many of my furloughed coworkers, I should be able to financially weather this period. As such it seemed somewhat disingenuous if I were to ask for money to cover my expenses while I was furloughed, but just putting up things for free also didn’t seem like a good solution. So instead I made this Ko-fi as sort of a: if you like what I write you can throw me a few dollars as a tip. However if you are looking to generally help the Vox Media employees being furloughed there is a GoFundMe campaign (https://www.gofundme.com/f/vox-media-furlough-fund) to help those who need the help (I’ve opted out of receiving ‘cause there are people who are more in need of it than me.) But if you want to give me some money to buy coffee, or cover some of my smaller expenses, that’s what this is.
