On Becoming Educated

Grad school can be a very lonely and life-changing journey for first-generation college students. From the application process to balancing a busy schedule to processing original data for a thesis or dissertation. It can be a real trial and error for first-generation college students. I experienced this first hand when I was accepted to a PhD program right out of college. Now, I'm experiencing it again as I return to school. In the On Becoming Educated podcast, I'll shares stories from my new journey as a PhD student. From taking the GRE to defending my dissertation, you’ll hear all about how I navigate every step of graduate school. This podcast is perfect for educators, individuals interested in going to grad school, and, of course, first-generation college students. My goal is to shed light on this whole process and make it accessible and possible for anyone who wants to change the world with a PhD.
