A passion for art has always been in me. A gift. Ever since I could pick up a pencil, I drew. But around 12 yrs old, I attended my cousin's 15th birthday where I first met a professional photographer. I was fascinated by the equipment he was carrying and my interest in photography was born. Now, it seems, time has moved that passion for art into photography. About 8 yrs ago, I was finally able to purchase my first DSLR. I took my first digital picture with the lens that it came with and then immediately went out and bought my first prime lens. Two weeks later, my sister introduced me to flash photography and I immediately bought one. A week after that, I took my first photo with off-camera flash and never looked back (except when needed). And a little over 4 yrs ago, I attended my first convention that featured cosplay and the rest is history.
