DaVinci Resolve Studio is said to be superior to Premiere Pro, But the main draw is that it is a ONE-TIME purchase and does not adopt Adobe's greedy subscription model. For the same price as renting Premiere Pro for 14 months, Davinci Resolve offers lifetime use with free updates, PLUS audio tools, visual effects, and motion graphics. (Adobe would require even more software rental for all that!) I've tried the free version and It's convinced me to move on to the next level.
