Many galleries and shows have requirements that all their paintings have frames, even if it wasn't intended to be that way. Cheap framing can distract from or change work, so must be done carefully and correctly. That can be expensive! Even basic kits can be $60-100 for the sizes I work in. $500 will help offset this cost. Every bit helps!
