I'm the author of a five-book epic fantasy series, Gods of the Caravan Road, published by Pyr. (Blackdog, The Leopard, The Lady, Gods of Nabban, and The Last Road.) I've written other things as well: picture books, novels for children and teens, two short story collections, and two works of literary criticism on the history of children's fantasy literature. As Kris Jamison, I'm the author of the contemporary lit novel Love/Rock/Compost.
Like most writers these days, I'm finding it's harder than ever to make a living from my work. I have a part-time job on top of the full-time writing, but sometimes it's still tricky, getting by.
