A fund which allows me to buy more materials to make masks for the migrant workers in need/ other marginalised communities who need reusable masks at this time. Funds received via my ko-fi until 30th June will go directly to the cause, and any surplus of the proceeds will go towards Migrant Matters/ Creatives for Aid. Masks will be distributed to dorms in batches once I've finished sewing them, and I'll keep everyone who's made a donation updated, so as to stay accountable. :)
Jialing is a BA(Hons) Dance graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts and has a strong penchant for somatic, improvisational and creative movement techniques in dance. Driven by the belief that dance is a visceral medium of expression, Jialing hopes to be able to share her passion for movement with bodies beyond the dance landscape. When she's not dancing, Jialing enjoys staging mini showdowns in the kitchen where the pasta and potatoes play the lead roles. It would be a great honour if you could "buy me a coffee" via this page, which would go towards one of these projects I'm currently working on: 1) www.madebypotatoes.com - an online shop that I am singlehandedly managing, and most recently, began an initiative "BUY A MASK, GIFT A MASK", where every purchase made (till 30 May 2020) automatically helps me to make an extra reusable mask to be gifted to the migrant workers who are in need. 2) Online dance tutorials/ sessions - in this time of COVID, I've lost my main income, which comes from teaching gigs. I'm not too comfortable with charging actual fees for Zoom classes, but if you can support me via ko-fi, that would be great! 3) Dance Film/ Art Projects - in time to come, I'm hoping to make more art to share, and every ko-fi given will go a long way in helping/ encouraging me to go further. 4) Literally buy me a cuppa cause lawd knows I cannot operate without caffeine, huhu :3 Thank you!
