I've been on Testosterone for over a year, and by July, once a whole year has passed since I started my transition, I hope to go under the knife and get top surgery. The good news is that the majority of the costs of surgery will be covered by insurance, and only a $750 deductible will likely need to be paid. The bad news is that it's a 6- to 8-week recovery and I won't be able to do much work during that time, as my job is VERY physically demanding. That's where you come in.
