last year, i moved to on-campus housing and the only way to have a pet is through an esa. without having my pets around, my mental health has definitely taken a hit. i would like to adopt a cat from the spca and register them as an esa so that i can have a loving (and loved) kitty companion with me once more. the target amount is based on estimated costs for necessities, including adoption fees, esa registration, and keeping a cat happy/healthy through a year (i.e., food, litter, etc.).
