I write a little bit of everything. My work includes the short story collection WE MISS ALL THE GREAT PARTIES and the burlesque memoir THE WILD AND WAYWARD TALES OF TAMMI TRUE. I've been a regular contributor to D Magazine and Smart Pop Books. I've written op-eds for the Dallas Morning News and Chicago Tribune, comic books and graphic novels in a variety of genres, and even a few D&D adventures. I just finished my first novel, WEAR CHAINMAIL TO THE APOCALYPSE. Now I'm working on my second.
Hello and welcome! I've been fortunate to write professionally for several years — as a freelancer, as a published author, and as a self-published indie (do we still use that word?) storyteller. For anyone who has followed my work, you know it has seldom taken a straight path. I go where the opportunities are. But no matter what I do, I've always relied on the direct support of the people who enjoy my work. Truth be told, I'd keep writing no matter what. But you've made this journey less lonely and more meaningful. So, thank you. This page will be used to help fund various costs associated with this mercenary existence. It's one way you can show your support, and nudge me forward. Thank you again. I appreciate it!
