This summer i'm finishing the debut album i've been working on since 2018— about East Austin gentrification, connection to my Black Texas roots, finding my identity and sense of self, and seeking liberation. I'm also recording a mixtape of love songs (and heartbreak songs) written during the pandemic and the moments of crisis and revolt that came along with it. Please keep me alive and well so i can finish these, and hopefully i can start making a stable livelihood from music soon.
