My next book will be a collection of daily affirmations to help anyone and everyone with the ups and downs of life. Hoping to hire an illustrator for this book, and to also maybe hire a designer to turn it into a journal too.
Hi! I'm Frankie, also known as Bird, and I'm an author, poet, blogger, and writer of many things! My blog is called As the Bird flies and is about a lot of different things including travel, writing, living in Amsterdam, and the power of affirmation (don't roll your eyes - it really does work!). I'm a Brit living in the Netherlands where I work as a freelance writer part-time while also raising my two kids. I'm the author of four published books (and many more short stories) and a poetry collection due to be published in December 2020. I've been blogging since 2009, writing fiction since 2011, making WriteNOW Cards (positive affirmation cards for writers) since 2017, and writing poems since, well, forever. With this page I hope to build a community of writers and readers who can support each other's work, and to get more of my own words in other people's hands and hearts.
