I’m an archaeologist who writes a range of prose. Somehow (maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s maybelieve) I’m running creative writing workshops at a number of literary festivals, as well as for The Crow Collective, Spelt, the Museum of Walking, and Retreat West. I’m currently finishing off a flash novella, stabbing at a hybrid nature/family memoir, and throwing myself into an intersectional biography of the British landscape. My Family & Other Folklore was longlisted for the 2021 Nan Shepherd prize. And, the landscape biography got me onto the London Library’s ‘Emerging Writers’ programme for 2022/2023.
