I want to incorporate Neurodiversity MB & register as a nonprofit. This would allow me to apply for government funding so I can support families who cannot afford to pay fees for private services & do not have insurance to cover the costs. The initial cost is $500 to incorporate federally, then there are the fees to register as a nonprofit & create a board of directors. The MB filing fee is $45 & the fees for reserving a company name and incorporating provincially are $240.
I have been a Neurodiversity advocate, ADHD coach, and tutor in Manitoba since 2017. I have a Social Services diploma and a degree in Psychology, as well as more than 20 years of experience in the social services and mental health fields. I've been providing private advocacy, tutoring, and support services in Manitoba since 2017. My son and I are both neurodivergent and twice (or thrice!) exceptional: both Autistic and gifted with ADHD. I offer a unique combination of personal, professional, and academic experience.
