The New Gothic Review is a bi-annual literary magazine that aims to cultivate thought-provoking short fiction that embraces the tradition of gothic literature and reimagines the genre for the 21st century. We want to celebrate any story that embraces the Gothic spirit and forces us to reconsider what the Gothic can be. And, at the end of the day, we hope to showcase collections of stories that connect us to new worlds and show how this beautiful genre is a universally human one. We are a small but dedicated three-person team—not tied to any larger institution or their checkbook. In order to produce future issues of New Gothic Review, we will need to rely on the support of our readers. We have and always will be a paying market for our contributors. Your support will go foremost to helping us continue to pay our contributors and to increasing how much we can compensate them.
