I always loved to travel and capture the inherent beauty of our World. One Country, City, Town, National Park, and Nature Reserve at a time. Thank you in advance for helping me live my dream. Without your support, I will not be able to do this full-time. All the Ko-fi donations will be used to help fund my Travel expeditions. A big thank you in advance for your support. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
As an originally self-taught photographer from 2009, I strive towards reflecting the effortlessness from when I started, into my brand today. My passion has always been capturing the "underdogs" of an image: those small little nuances that people often miss in a moment. My first love has always been landscape- and travel photography, and thus I graduated from "The Photography Institute" in the same, in 2021. That said, I don't like to limit my creativity to just one genre. One particular love of mine is highlighting the personalities of newborns, babies, and children that I feel blessed about having in front of my lens. Since I can remember I "borrowed" my father's camera and took photos of everything. He was not always happy with me, because I used all of his films. When I got older, I took photos with my point-and-shoot cameras and my friend saw my work and said that I have a talent and I am not using it. In 2009 my husband bought me my first DSLR, an EOS 500D. He told me to go live my dream. Since then, I have been doing just that. Living my dream capturing the beauty all around me. I love that I get to combine my passions, as well as motivate and inspire others with what I do. What I mean by that is, I am very fond of travelling, going hiking, and discovering new places. Photography allows me to do that, to crawl around in search of the hidden visual treasures, everybody else just walks past. I find spending time in nature very therapeutic; it is when time stands still for me. This inspires me to use my landscape and outdoor photos together with inspirational quotes; not only inspiring, but uplifting others in the process. All in all, I get to share my love for photography, and the beauty I get to capture, with people from all over the world. All of us deal with multiple obstacles in our creative journeys. I must say that the biggest one of these was the passing of my father. It might not make sense what this personal trouble has to do with my photography, but it was an immense impediment for me: My father was my travel companion, my biggest fan, and my most honest critic. He was the encouragement behind getting my photography diploma, and my support when I wanted to change my genre from "portrait" to "landscape and travel". We planned road trips together and spent hours dreaming of all the places we still wanted to visit. After he passed away, I could not stand to look at any photos or even pick up my camera. My photography journey had been so intertwined with him, that I could not face one without having the other. Overcoming the loss of my best friend and biggest cheerleader is not an easy road to travel. But thankfully the support of my children and my friends is helping me to start living my dream again. Six months down the line, and working on two projects at the moment, is teaching me that a part of him will always live through my lens. My dream opportunity would be to travel the world and capture it my way. Scotland lies very close to my heart, as I promised my dad that I would go back there to capture the Puffins and the rest of the country and the islands that I didn't get around to on my last visit. I want people to remember that there are hidden treasures all around us... if we just look. I strive to live my life in a way that inspires others to know that no dream is unattainable, just like Walt Disney said: "If you can dream it, you can do it".
