Hello Barkada publishes content for, about, and by artists and creatives from historically marginalized communities. We advocate for people and women of color, LGBTQIA2S+ folx, and disabled peoples. Please contribute an amount you're comfortable with on a one-time or monthly basis! Your support provides paid opportunities for artists, creatives, and writers, and subsidizes fees associated to running HelloBarkada.org and this crowdfund page. Founded in July 2021 by Filipina American writer, content creator, and program coordinator Christine Pasalo Norland, Hello Barkada is based in San Diego on the unceded territory of the Kumeyaay Nation.
