This goal is to help support me in completing the research and initial draft of a book about Binge Eating and Body Image in Mid-life women of color. As you can imagine, time researching is time I am not working or earning so any support you can give me is greatly needed and appreciated as I work towards abolishing industrial-health complex as an exclusionary system (extended from capitalism) and its perpetuation of body-based bias.
I am a size- and culture-affirming holistic ED recovery and wellness professional who helps folx turn away from diet culture to uncover and unlearn behavior patterns that no longer serve and to find freedom in eating, movement, and living well. As an advocate and activist, I also work with professionals and organizations to dismantle racism and decolonize perspectives within health and wellness industries.
