Hi, I’m Chris Huth, and I need your help to stay housed. I’m a freelancer who has been working in tabletop RPGs for almost two decades as an illustrator, graphic designer, and writer, contributing to games such as Old School Essentials, Call of Cthulhu, Night’s Black Agents, Neoclassical Geek Revival, and a host of others. I’m glad to have been a part of this community for all these years, sharing our mutual enjoyment of the weird, fantastic, and mysterious, and I hope to continue working in it for many years to come. The past couple years have been rough for me. In 2022 I contracted COVID, and while the initial illness was mild, I developed long COVID symptoms which drained my ability to work. My savings were depleted, and in January of this year I had to ask for the community’s help in avoiding eviction. I was able to thanks to your help, but because of a combination of both my computers breaking in March and other unexpected circumstances it wasn’t until June that my income was back to what I needed it to be to cover all my costs. That left me with three months of rent in arrears. Since then, I have been paying off the debt, but now my landlord is refusing to give me even the small amount of extra time I need to pay off the remainder, and he has sent me another eviction notice. I have until the 30th of September to pay the back rent owed in full. It’s been a hard few years for everybody. Any help, including just resharing this page, is greatly appreciated. But if you are able to donate, in addition to my eternal gratitude, pledging $25 or more will get a personally-drawn individual illustration of a little weirdo, drawn by me. At $50 or more, you can tell me what kind of little weirdo you want, and at $100, the weirdo will be (slightly) less little.
