Audrey Kalman writes literary fiction with a dark edge about what goes awry when human connection is missing from our lives. She is the author of two novels—"What Remains Unsaid" and "Dance of Souls"—as well as a book of short stories, "Tiny Shoes Dancing," published in 2018 and on the shortlist for the 2019 Rubery Book Award. Her story “The Bureau of Lost Earrings” was shortlisted for Pithead Chapel’s 2016 Larry Brown Short Story Award and many online and print journals have published her short fiction and poetry. Most days, you can find her in front of her computer, tackling various works of fiction. She has another novel completed (for which she is seeking an agent), another underway, and several ideas in the pipeline. Find out more at www.audreykalman.com
Welcome to my Ko-fi Page. If you enjoy my content, please consider supporting what I do. Thank you. For 2019, I have a modest goal: to fund my weekly writing sessions at a fabulous local cafe, Penelope's Coffee & Tea in Foster City, CA. I go there every Tuesday for Shut Up & Write. This nationwide writing group gives writers--usually a solitary bunch--a great opportunity to connect but also to buckle down and get work done. Since it's at a cafe, we all purchase items to support the business. As you can see, this can add up if you do it every week. You really ARE buying me a cup of coffee (well, in my case, tea) by supporting this goal!
