More stories, anyone? Tom is planning to retire soon. Having given his time to the Orkney Museum for about a million years, he wants to focus on writing new books, as well as bringing others to life through our Orkneyology Press. His current laptop is - to be polite - not fit for purpose. I'm hoping to earn enough here to buy a proper laptop, boosting his pre-and-post-retirement creativity. Tom Muir is a native storyteller, author and historian from Scotland's Orkney Islands. Rhonda Muir is an American expat, writer and the other half of Orkneyology.com. Together we're creating an online social history archive for Orkney stories and folklore, as well as providing a resource for visitors longing to find off the beaten path Orkney locations and the stories that belong there. These interests have led naturally to our latest venture, publishing through Orkneyology Press. We hope you're enjoying what we're doing.
