A short documentary on the little-known radical history of the deep rural South, including Commonwealth College, the Southern Tenant Farmers' Union, and early waves of LGBT/feminist organizing, following development into the splintered “new left” movements of today and exploring criticisms of modern “radical” left-wing activism and its connections to the nonprofit industrial complex. Now only a concept, but if enough interest is generated, this will go toward funding a small group film project.
