I'll write a short piece about one of my favorite interests, ranging from game dev/90s cartoons/video games (FF VII)
Charles Hans Huang (he/him) is a programmer and game designer, interested in game development as a sustainable humanistic practice.
!That's fancy speak for saying I like to care about people and not go broke doing so!)
He's had his work covered by Rock, Paper, Shotgun, PC Gamer, TechRaptor, Weird F***in' Games, Unwinnable, Intelligame and Critical Distance. His work has been shown at Different Games, Crafting Intangibles, LA Zine Fest, Nerd Nite, PixelPop Festival, and Play NYC. (Whew!)
He organizes GDC Unparty, a quiet networking event; and Friendship Garden, a megabooth highlighting the work of game developers from underrepresented backgrounds.
He loves Mr. Rogers, Randy Pausch, and Jim Henson. He hangs out with other cool game devs in New York City.
