Thank you for stopping by to support my work! Besides supplying caffeine-fueled energy for the many things I create, your gift also tells me that you want to see more of it, and I'm happy to oblige! I have several goals which I'll be putting my "coffee money" towards: 1. Increasing my output of knitwear designs. To do this, I need to get more of my designs out of my head and into the real world. At the moment, the easiest way to do that is to outsource knitting work to paid test knitters or knitting pattern editors. I believe strongly in paying people fairly for their time, and knitting tends to be a slow process. So this is going to require some capital. 2. Increasing my output of great fiction. This is not as simple as "write more stories." As an indie author, each title I produce requires a significant investment of capital to edit, create covers for, format for print, and then stock (as most of the brick-and-mortar stores I sell through will only sell local author books on commission). At the moment, I simply don't have the capital to have an investment of thousands of dollars sitting on store shelves as well as putting thousands more dollars into one or two new books every year. (My goal is to produce two or more full-length fiction works per year.) Besides these two aspects of my work, I create knitting videos and regularly blog and write newsletters designed to uplift, educate, and inspire my readers. Again, these things take time. Your "tip" in my coffee jar will not only help me expand my business and put out more content for you to enjoy, but it is deeply appreciated by me as an acknowledgement that the work I do has value to you. My ultimate goal is to build my business to the point that I can be buying other artists coffee to give them the nudge they need instead of asking for that support for myself. So THANK YOU. Your gift means so much.
