(Scientist/Data analysis/webdeveloper) With that background, I use publicly available data to make relevant plots/graphs/maps for making numbers understandable to people. At present I am running website : https://www.ncovirus.in , showing COVID-19 spread in India. In the near future I plan to make one more website showing data on economics and other social indicators in India. Why am I here. I am running the websites on my own paying the hosting costs from my small fellowship. Hence, I would like to recover some of my costs. Present costs : ~USD 70 per year. With the tips, i) I will pay the web hosting company. ii) Some of the public data is available for some money from the governments (kind of paywalled). If I recover 50% of the hosting costs I will use the donations to request this data from governments.
