In September 2020 I went back to college to study Art at ATU. I am juggling a part time job, a small business and working as much as possible to try and make it through. I would be grateful for any support received in helping me fund my college course and research in Contemporary Art. I don’t get ANY government or external support whatsoever so the rising costs of living, cost of fuel for travel and huge increases in the cost of materials I need all the help I can get.
My name is Susan (Ellen Susan Igoe) and I am a self-taught and self-employed Irish Artist living in the West of Ireland-trying to make a living through creativity. I create paintings, drawings and pieces of art of pets, landscapes, humans, buildings and other subjects. I specialise in bespoke pet and human portraits 🐶. I have recently started a new course in Contemporary Art in CCAM at GMIT in Galway with the aim of improving my practice, broadening my skills set and experiencing new ways of creating. I truly appreciate all and any support in helping me fund myself through art college, mainly to offset the cost of supplies, commuting 5 days a week and supplying equipment over the duration of the course.
