Fine Art: Angel is a pop surreal painter & textile artist. Her vibrantly colored acrylic paintings are full of unique characters often in luminous settings reminiscent of theatrical stages. They tell stories of joy, sorrow, wonder, discontentment, and appreciation in a world that is at once amazing and overwhelming. Angel’s work offers plenty of lush visual detail and has been described as uplifting, ethereal, sumptuous, and curiously quirky with the tang of taffy. Textiles: Art dolls are a wonderful outlet for creating unique characters in 3D! And for expermenting with new materials. Trying new things is an important part of growing as an artist, and I just so happen to love it, so art dolls are a lovely mix of my art style with tangible materials. Crochet: Adding to my technique toolbag, writing patterns, and daydreaming new projects is sometimes all I want to do. Knotting thread is yet another way to experiment with color (and texture) thay totally speaks to my soul.
