It may or may not surprise you to learn that I record all In Search of England episodes on my phone. This has served me well for most cases but is beginning to become a limitation. To bring In Search of England to the next level I want to have a mirrorless digital camera as my main shooter. I believe a Sony A6400 is the best camera for this purpose, providing high quality footage at an affordable price. Second hand in good condition these regularly go for £600-700.
