Hi! I'm anaïs (name//they/them) and i'm a queer, mixed race asian american prose poet, lyric essayist, and organizer focused on fossil fuel extraction and the petrochemical buildout in appalachia. my writing explores themes of incarceration and abolition, community care, gender and queerness, and imagining the possibilities of liberation. while i'm currently employed at an environmental ngo i have been involved with grassroots climate activism for over 6 years in the southwest PA area where I have organized marches, rallies, and a 13 day occupation of the cathedral of learning during my undergrad.
