I'm Nicola Humphreys, a writer, living in Leicester. Blogging doesn't pay the bills so I have a full-time job. I need a new computer, as mine is old with a sticky e key. I'd also love to attend a proper tutored writer's retreat at an ARVON centre, but I don't have a spare £800.The closest I'd get to being taught is the MASTERCLASS app, which is £180, or a couple of seminars, subsidised by my local counsel for a reading festival. So this is where you come in, my lovely reader. All of my content on my blog is free. I could have put the best bits into a collection of short stories and tried to sell them myself on Amazon, but then they wouldn't have reached the audience that they have. It's an awkward request, asking a stranger, but I have provided entertainment up front. Love Nicola x
