September 2021 Update: I finished the draft! I am now self-editing (on paper), and planning to solicit beta readers this fall. I seriously began writing my current novel (working title "The Walking Ladies") during NaNoWriMo 2020. On my birthday in August of 2021, I finished the draft. Now my goal is to revise the draft and get it ready for an outside editor by the end of 2021. Contributions will support my tea habit and occasional meals out so I don't have to cook :-).
Audrey Kalman writes literary fiction with a dark edge about what goes awry when human connection is missing from our lives. She is the author of three novels—"The Last Storyteller," "What Remains Unsaid" and "Dance of Souls"—as well as a book of short stories, "Tiny Shoes Dancing," published in 2018 and on the shortlist for the 2019 Rubery Book Award. Her story “Ramps Season” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and many online and print journals have published her short fiction and poetry. She currently co-teaches the Birth Your Truest Story workshop series and serves as community lead for the Brilliant Writer community. Most days, you can find her in front of her computer, tackling various works of fiction.
