I am an illustrator and painter. I use colour pencils for drawing and watercolours for painting. Sometimes I also use acrylics and oils. To me drawing is like entering a dream world where anything can be created. I love doing illustrations for children's books and I also love painting magical realism, but sometimes I paint just landscapes for nature is one of the most beautiful things. I was born Begoña Landi Pienaar in South Africa in 1970, from a South African mother and a Spanish father. When I was 9 years old we moved to Spain and there I grew up. In 2010 I moved to the south of Portugal to live. I draw and paint since I can remember, and always had a wild imagination. I use to spend hours in my own dream world. Naturally my imaginary world would come to life in my drawings.
