Hi there! My name is Aina, I’m a Black queer femme who has lived in many places but I’m currently living on the ancestral land of the Abenaki People (Pennacook territory). I love rollerblading, walks in the forest, and playing animal crossing! I believe in a future that entails giving this land back to those who are the original stewards of Turtle Island, implementing systemic reparations to the descendants of chattel slavery, and redistribution of wealth through mutual aid, therefore this is who and what I center in my work. I’m Black/Indigenous with Choctaw/Chickasaw Freedman lineage, a crystal and plant lover, a cat parent (lil bear aka bingo), a Virgo rising, and a 29-year-old Coppersmith. I have been making different types of jewelry and multi-media art for over 15 years.
