Howdy! I'm Enrique. I like to code and I like to play fighting games. I write tools with the aim of preserving the games of old and keeping the communities that revolve around them thriving. Right now, my main project is a fork of the Flycast emulator named Flycast Dojo, optimized for netplay and the special needs of online tournaments. All work toward this effort is open-source so that the community can modify it and adopt it to its needs. I also aim to use refit features made for this project to other games During non-plague times, I have been known to help run brackets in local NorCal fighting game events and throwing together electronics projects to aid them like custom controller converters and custom console mods. I aim to dig in on emulator internals and explore technical topics that may be interesting to those who share the intersection of forensics and fisticuffs.
