I'm Chelsea (she/her) a mum, student midwife, podcaster, hypnobirthing practitioner and am also incredibly passionate about the decolonisation of midwifery education and decreasing the disparities in maternal mortality for black and brown women and birthing people.

I set up this Ko-fi page after an instagram follower wanted to support the work I was doing. Admittedly, I cringed at first but then thought if others appreciate the time and effort I put into raising awareness and campaigning for change, why question that. I'll be using this page to support my podcast and also develop my own anti-racism workshop for birth workers and student midwives. The world needs more birthworkers who are actively doing the work to disrupt the status-quo that enables the continuation of racism in maternity care. If not us, who? If not now, when?
