Hey everyone, my name is Vi (she/her) and Critical Healing Moment is a personal project that bridges healing, organizing, and social work through a critical lens to inspire others and build our capacities to take care of each other. I envision a world where we have the tools to take care of each other’s emotional and social needs outside of formal institutions of care.

I created Critical Healing Moment because I believe it is a conversation that the world needs right now. I love being able to share my thoughts through my platforms, and my posts and videos also take a lot of time and mental energy to put together. I am a student doing an unpaid field internship, unable to sustainably have a full time job with my academic expectations, and require shelter and food to live. I full-heartedly believe that I do not have to sacrifice my wellbeing in order to survive. Your verbal, emotional, and financial support mean a lot to me and makes it possible for me to do this work!
