Well, hi! My name is Dani, and I'm the writer behind hopeisthethingwithlightsabers.com. My blog began in early 2017, partly as a tribute to the late Carrie Fisher. I was diagnosed with bipolar II disorder in December 2016, and, after re-reading Wishful Drinking, I committed to my new writing thesis: I want to be open about every weird feeling I have ever had, because I don't want you to feel bad about any of yours. I am also a producer and combatant with WRITE CLUB Atl, and I write fanfiction on Ao3 under the pen name: "Waywarder." Thank you for reading and supporting!
