hello! i'm Nico. i paint things and dream of butterflies. i’m a 34 year old queer trans man who has a lot of opinions about nothing in general, loves to paint, hike, and has a Charlie cat and Butters. a lot of my work expresses my interests in ancient history, mythology, and high fantasy. i enjoy drawing passive characters in lush, chaotic environments and exploring subtly in static poses and movement. i draw a lot of inspiration from neoclassicism. there’s a lot of my soul lost in that time period that i’m trying to find in my oil paintings. currently, my art is on hold because of the debilitating pain in my hands. i am currently seeing different doctors and therapists for this. i am also seeing an ENT specialist for thyroid issues ( i am waiting to be referred to an endocrinologist as of 3.23.23 ).
