My cat sat on my laptop, lost his balance, and fell, bending the monitor backwards and breaking the bottom of the screen. It still works, but for how long? I want a new one with a touchscreen and a removable keyboard (so the cat can't break it the same way again).
I learned to read when I was four years old, and I began writing soon thereafter. My first story was about a girl and her horse--it was awful, but my parents loved it, which encouraged me to continue. My favourite genres are of the fantastical and magical, where the mundane rules of real life don't apply. I am a queer Christian poet, crafting with words to create art and music. Poet, lover, thinker, human. I am not an open book although I wish that I could be. A part of me is all you see—the rest is hidden deep inside. Words have always been my art. They dance for me and sing for me. They laugh for me and cry for me. They are my paint and brushes. They are my clay.
