I am new to this, but willing to try. For years, I worked as a teacher, but lost my job during the pandemic. I am also an animal welfare worker and volunteer with my local shelter. My earnings go into indie cat sterilisation and post-operative care which is expensive when one is not earning too much. So I'm trying to open a channel of revenue here so I can keep getting cats sterilised and earn to keep my own cats healthy, happy and fat! My aim is to write about 'desi' cat care, adoptions and other such topics, but also about being a single middle-aged woman in India. I hope my experiences resonate with some of you.
I will use it as part of my personal income. Having lost my job two years ago, I have been struggling to find another one and am truly finding it challenging to keep spending on the thousands of stray cats I see in my city.
