Hello! I'm GameDev Mum! I've been making games professionally since 2008! I left Studio work to look after my kid, and now I parent during the day, and develop my own games in the evenings. I make short games for folks with less time on their hands, games that are mostly low-stress, relaxed, and nice little time-passes. I also make game assets, and often sell the assets I make for my own games, to help others who want to try games development (or help those who can do it, but don’t have as much time as they used to) Obviously, I no longer have a regular paid salary, nor time to freelance, so I make games completely off my own steam.
