Greater Manchester Doulas CIC offer emotional and practical support to women, particularly in the childbearing year, but at any age and stage. We specialise in supporting women to recover from, and where possible avoid birth trauma (aka obstetric violence). Our support comes in many forms, from 1:1s to community groups, one-off sessions to packages of support spanning months, and attending freebirths. We run a voluntary birth pool hire scheme, which is free to anyone who needs it to be. Making a donation though ko-fi directly supports women in and around Greater Manchester who lack support and the funds to pay for it. We are grateful for any amount contributed toward this cause, as are the women we do this for. Thanking you on their behalf, Amy and Elle.
We love getting donations because they go toward our work and helping those who can't afford our services, and funds raised through this page will by default go into the 'paying it forward' pot. But sometimes people want to gift us something personally, and if this is you you can do so here, just make sure to specify in your message. Donations specifically for us will likely be spent in Ice Shack, on coffee and hot chocolates, and you are most welcome to join us there while we enjoy them.
