Ink Cypher is the home of our commissioned writing on the Hip Hop Dance Almanac; it's where you'll find exclusive, original features and long form writing on Hip Hop dance from a suite of international voices. The Hip Hop Dance Almanac was created and is edited by Ian Abbott; it is an independent media platform and is free to access online. In this collection (published November 2021) some of the people are established writers, some are writing in English for the first time and for others this is the first time they've been commissioned. The Hip Hop Dance Almanac is committed to commissioning and archiving the stories and voices of Hip Hop dance.
