DONATION RULES 1) You must be a resident of British Columbia, and a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. 2) You must provide us with your address (put it in the 'message' box and check ‘private’, DM it on Ko-Fi, or email hello@homesforliving.ca) 3) Your donation cannot exceed $99 4) One donation per person 5) No donations from candidates or campaign staff 6) No donations from developers or their families Any donations violating these rules will be refunded. WHY WE ARE FUNDRAISING We are evaluating candidates for the 2022 municipal election in the municipalities of Esquimalt, Oak Bay, Saanich and Victoria. Evaluations will be used to rank candidates based on who will improve housing affordability and availability in the region. In order to educate voters on which candidates are most likely to be pro-housing and promote the results of our evaluation, we need to pay for advertising! We are a registered third party sponsor with Elections BC and a registered Not-For-Profit Society. Unspent funds from this campaign will be donated to local non-profit housing provider(s).
