Creator types are funny people and I don't mean ha-ha funny (although they can be that, too). Creators rip out bits of their souls and shape the shards into Works that can be shared with others. Creators perform this self-mutilation because they're driven to -- but it's not easy and it's scarier than hell. So when creators get kudos of one sort of another, it's a Big Deal. A Really Big Deal.
