[This Ko-Fi page is relatively new, and still growing.] I am a self-taught artist living and working in Central Massachusetts, USA, under the name Jen Niles Art. I've been drawing all my life. For many years I mostly did detailed pen & ink illustrations including commissioned house portraits. In 2001 I began experimenting with acrylics, inspired by my two cats, PK and Nellie. From there, I developed a recognizable, whimsical style usually featuring bold color and cheerful subjects from everyday life. In my “Paint Your Pet” classes, I’ve helped both adults and kids have fun painting their furry friends. I also do commissioned pet portraits and pet portrait pendants. I sell my art locally in gift shops in the Central Massachusetts area, as well as online here and on Etsy.
