I do most of my work either on a laptop or using a cheap keyboard. I'd like to buy a System76 Launch Keyboard. It would help both my productivity and my posture. It would also help me support the Linux/FOSS community.
I write about history and technology. I also like to write noir detective fiction. Hi!. My name is John Paul Wohlscheid. I was always a fan of detective stories, and discovered the noir sub-genre in college via old time radio. Shortly after that, I started writing my own detective stories. I also became interested in the early history of computers after watching Robert X. Cringely's Triumph of the Nerds (and reading the book it was based on, Accidental Empires). Over the last couple of years, I've started writing about computer history. I'm also writing about modern technology on itsfoss.com. History has always fascinated me. I've read quite a bit about it. Last year, I decided to turn that interest in a bi-weekly newsletter.
