Due to factors outside my control my ipad has broken and I now need to recover data as well as replace my ipad. I'm taking emergency commissions to pay for the cost of recovery as well as help pay for a new ipad. There are essential files that have not been backed up. I know I should have been better but hindsight is 20/20 😔 Some of the lost artwork includes: -Unpublished Griefer Belt pages and thumbnails for the entirety of Chapter 10. -WIPs for personal projects. -WIPs for commissions. -WIPs for personal artwork *** Why this cost? Unfortunately due to the way iPads are made (thanks apple), the cost of data recovery for iPads is not cheap! I have spoken with a number of computer technicians, data recovery stores and Apple and they have all told me the only option is to reset the ipad (and lose the data). However the company we are working with to recover the data was also recommended to us by multiple stores including Apple assistants. They are considered to be the best in the business and have been the only place to guarantee they can recover the data. Not just vague “maybes.” I’ll put it this way, it’s kinda like getting a tattoo, I’m willing to pay the cost for something that is permanent.
