Scientist and language enthusiast, working on a language guide! As a heritage speaker of Teochew, I've always wanted to improve my command of the language and learn more about it. However, learning materials were either out of print or difficult to come by. When I began studying it in earnest, I thought that I should put together my notes into a study guide, and that's how this site got started. It is free and always will be, but if you found it useful and would like to support the project I will be very grateful!
This is my first time using crowd-funding, so I don't know what to expect. The Learn Teochew project will continue to be available for free and accessible online, that won't change. Any funds raised will be used for optional extras, starting with registering a domain name for the website. Possible future improvements include commissioning artwork, copy editing, or web design.
