I'm an Indiana, U.S.A., farmer, writer, and photographer who likes sheep, sunrises, and really good music. The name of my farm and life blog comes from my year living and working in New Zealand (which has lots of sheep!) and the nickname given to people from Indiana. My art is writing from America’s Heartland on agriculture, community and the value of rural lands and people through local, national, and global lenses. I also write short stories in various genres.
